You might hear this invitation as a howl from the dark unknown of these times we find ourselves in. Or perhaps the tender coo of a dove’s offering to a new day. Or the anxious squeak of a mouse in the paws of a great cat. However it arrives, here it is: a post-humanist call to come love, laugh, work, dance, sweat, cry, grow, connect and make meaning together. To work hard and well. To court and cultivate ALIVENESS in this land, in each other, in ourselves. To dance with paradox; to coax together the wild and the cultivated, the sacred and the profane, the inner and the outer. This is delightfully hard work- physically, emotionally, spiritually. We are excited to continue this experiment in alternative living!

We are in an unhurried and deliberate process of becoming an intentional community, in addition to a productive farm. We are slowly calling in farmers, bakers, cooks, builders, artisans, teachers, seekers and healers - perhaps starting to grow flesh on the ancient bones of Village. The legal/economic form is currently an LLC owned by Daniel, with partial sharing of profits, but we are open to transitioning to a communal ownership structure with people who want to stick around and invest their life force in the place. We continue to welcome seasonal crew as well as those potentially interested in longer-term involvement. These are exciting times for us!

For 2027, we will be sharing profits again with everyone who lives and works full-time on the farm. At the end of the year, 20% of profits will be distributed evenly among the crew. The remaining profits will be re-invested in the farm, as we are in the midst of substantial building projects that will increase our on-farm housing and move us toward our community goals.
